Public Health's new tobacco cessation ad campaign on radio, TV and online in the coming weeks.

The campaign - based on the Washington State Department of Health's Dear Me campaign - will reach audiences across Western Washington and will run from Jan. 24-Feb. 13. Radio and online ads will run in multiple languages.

Congragulations Highline Medical Center!

On January 5 Highline Medical Center implemented a tobacco-free campus policy demonstrating a strong commitment to healing and recovery for patients, visitors, and staff. Signage Grant Opportunity to Support Tobacco-Free Environments

The Tobacco Prevention Program is taking applications on a rolling basis for proposals for new and permanent signage that supports tobacco-free environments.

Healthy Teens / School programs

Sure is a lot of interesting research and available curricula/resources out there on the web. Just came across this today: "Teens Eating for Energy and Nutrition at School" (TEENS).  This study found that peer programs reported the largest increases in fruit, vegetable, and lower fat food consumptions.
