Action Alert: Voluntary Food Marketing Guidelines

The Childhood Obesity Prevention Coalition has submitted a letter to major food corporations urging them to work with the Interagency Working Group on their proposed voluntary guidelines for food marketing to children, versus aggressively lobbying to inhibit them. Every year, the food industry spends $2 billion on marketing to children, including junk foods that contribute to the major obesity crisis today.
